ECO-friendly production
When technology inspires sustainability
Instead of traditional methods that waste a lot of material carving frames from a block, our eyewear made with advanced additive technologies uses only the material needed. This approach conserves resources and energy while reducing waste.
At IKYUM®, this is our way of addressing overproduction and taking more responsibility for the environment.
Less is more
Consume only what's necessary
Our frames are made of polyamide. A material with ideal properties for eyewear production, stronger than the acetate usually used in the eyewear industry, lighter than titanium. Our glasses are extremely comfortable, lightweight, anti allergic, durable and sturdy.
Our IKYUM® frames are perfectly balanced thanks to their weight distribution, giving you that perfect feeling you’ve been looking for.
Sustainable Strength
Titanium & PA11
In today's eco-conscious world, merging sustainability with additive manufacturing offers a path to greener production.
Our FLATMATIC® line, we use Titanium Grade 5 for the temple systems, offering an ideal balance of strength, lightweight design, eco-friendliness, and aesthetic appeal. Its untreated form ensures durability and a unique hybrid design. The front frame structures are made of PA11, a sustainable polymer derived from castor oil, known for its high strength, flexibility, and resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures. This combination further enhances the durability and lightweight nature of our eyewear.

The choice is simple when the design is good
It is in simplicity that we find the recipe for shapes that mark their time. When the design is complete, when the model fits you like a glove. Why hesitate any longer? Doesn’t IKYUM® seem to be the obvious choice?
